Donald “Donnie” Wayne Brigance, age 71, of Prescott, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at The Springs of Hillcrest in Prescott. He was born April 12, 1955, in Brownsville, TN, the son of the late Thomas and Patsy Powell Brigance. Donnie was a retired truck driver for Fed Ex Freight. He attended First Assembly of God Church in Prescott. Donnie enjoyed building and collecting RC helicopters and drones, picking his guitar and anything with music, but most of all, spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Janice Brigance of Prescott, three sons, Timothy Brigance of Mississippi, Joshua Bryan (Summer) of Prescott and Aaron Bryan of Spring Hill, AR, four daughters, Johnna Rodgers, Tiffany Moody (Chad), and Jade Cornelius (Jake) all of Prescott and Monica Bryan of Texarkana, TX, two brothers, David Brigance of Millington, TN and Lynn Brigance of Arlington, TN, fifteen grandchildren, Gabbee Rodgers (Thomas), Graycee Rodgers, Kennidy Helmick, Karlie Helmick, Kinley Roush, Brylan Bryan, Gemma Bryan, Brennan Angel, Adam Cornelius, Aubree Vanderveer (Will), Alye Cornelius, Jack Cornelius, Braiden Bryan, Alicia Brigance, Madison Brigance and one great-grandchild, Asher Hurt.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
