Bonnie Marie Shirley Sinyard, age 91, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, surrounded by family.
Mrs. Bonnie was born on July 23, 1934, in Hope, Arkansas to her parents, Hobart and Lois Shirley. She was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School Youth Class and later the Dixie Betts Class. In 1955 she helped start the first Bible School at Bethany Church.
Her hobbies were boating, skiing, horseback riding, camping, photography, showing antique cars, traveling, hunting, fishing, and girl scouts with both of her girls. She graduated of Hope High School in 1953.
Bonnie will always be missed for her love and kindness that she shared with others.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Lovingly remember by her husband of 73 years, Gail Sinyard; her daughters, Shirley Hughes (Donny) of Hope, Sydnee Rice (Joe) of Texarkana, and her cherished grandchildren, Kyle Hughes, Jeremy Hughes (Hayley), Derek Dickerson, Dakota Dickerson (Purnima), and several great grandchildren, relatives, and many friends; one sister, Syble Smith of Little Rock.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Bethany Baptist Church with Bro. Eric Fisher officiating. Burial will be at Evening Shade Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home, The Funeral Home of Hope, Ben Brazzel, Director.
