HOPE – University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT) Chancellor Dr. Ricky Tompkins recently spoke to members of the Hope Civitan Club at their meeting July 14. He expressed his great pleasure at returning to his hometown to serve as chancellor and enumerated the many ways UAHT serves students and the community. He elaborated on UAHT’s focus on removing any barriers that might keep students from attending and succeeding at UAHT — and even continuing education beyond the local university.
