HOPE – County trash pick-up is for HOUSEHOLD trash ONLY!
No yard waste, appliances, furniture, etc. Large items may be brought to the county shop and placed in a dumpster provided by the county. All boxes need to be broken down and bagged for pick up. Paint cans containing paint must be brought to the county shop and placed in the dumpster provided. Any lithium batteries need to be placed in the large open top dumpster at the county shop.
The Hempstead County Shop is open Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm.
