HOT SPRINGS – The Hope High School Cheerleaders returned home from NCA Cheer Camp with an impressive collection of awards and recognitions after a week of hard work, teamwork, and determination.
The squad earned Blue Superior Ribbons on evaluations while also capturing 1st Place in both the Varsity Jam Performance and Varsity Game Day Cheer Performance competitions.
Individual honors were equally impressive. Ten HHS cheerleaders were nominated for NCA All-American Tryouts, with six earning the prestigious title of NCA All-American. Three cheerleaders also received invitations to join the highly respected NCA Staff.
Cheer Coach Kirby Bradley said the team’s greatest accomplishment went beyond the trophies. “While we’re proud of the awards, I’m most proud of the heart this team showed all week. They encouraged one another, stepped outside their comfort zones, never gave up, and represented Hope High School with pride, determination, and class. This is only the beginning, and I’m excited to see what this season holds.”
