NEVADA COUNTY – This evening at approximately 4:45 PM, Nevada County Fire & Rescue, alongside FairHills Fire Department, was dispatched to a reported grass and hay bale fire off Highway 371.
Upon arrival, crews found approximately three hay bales and the surrounding grass on fire. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and contained it before it could spread any further.
