GENOA – The Akela Wahinapay Lodge of the Order of the Arrow held its annual Pow Wow
at Camp Preston Hunt near Genoa, Arkansas. Troop 5 Life Scout Kody O’Brien
was elected 2nd Vice Chief of the Lodge making him third in line of the
officers. Troop 5 Assistant Scoutmaster Betty Wright provided leadership,
worked on the kitchen crew for the weekend and provided this picture.
Troop 5 Scouts pictured from the Vigil Honor Breakfast are : Emma Wright,
former First Vice Chief and acting Chief last year; Drake Hargis, former
Lodge Officer and Advisor; David Moore, former Lodge Officer; and Dr. Lester
Sitzes, Scoutmaster.
Other local Scouts in the picture are: Gus Kisselburg from Prescott and Mike
Little from Hope.
Vigil Honors are the highest level of membership in the Order of the Arrow,
Scouting’s fraternity of Cheerful Service to Others.
