HOPE – The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Chancellor’s Office will present a free community movie night at Hempstead Hall on Friday, August 28, at 7 p.m. The featured film will be Disney Pixar’s Hoppers. Guests are encouraged to bring canned goods or other non-perishable food items to donate to Hope In Action. Donations are encouraged but are not required for admission.
“We are pleased to provide an opportunity for families and friends in our community to come together and enjoy a fun evening at Hempstead Hall,” said UAHT Chancellor Dr. Ricky Tompkins. “We also hope attendees will help us support Hope In Action and the important services it provides to our neighbors in Hempstead County.”
Hope In Action serves more than 3,000 people each year in Hempstead County. The organization provides temporary safe shelter, meals, basic necessities, and essential support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and homelessness.
