A moped driver was injured in a one-vehicle accident on East Third in Hope Friday around 5:30pm. A person on the scene said the moped driver said his throttle hung up and he was thrown from his vehicle. The accident occurred right in front of the Pafford Ambulance Station in the S-Curve and medical assistance was immediate. Also responding was the the Hope Police Department and Hope Fire Department.
