Curley Wolves blank Bobcats in season opener

PRESCOTT – The Prescott Curley Wolves defeated the Hope Bobcats 46-0 in the season opener AT Cummins Stadium.

In the first quarter the Curley Wolves scored on a 21-yard pass play from Des Prater to Owen Glass. Kayden Gleason scored on a one-yard run for the second touchdown of the quarter.

Prescott added two more touchdowns in the second quarter on a 25-yard pass play from Prater to Wes Cornelius and a blocked punt return for 5-yards by Brian Woodley.

The Curley Wolves led at half 27-0. Hope was held to one yard of total first-half offense.

One-yard touchdown runs by Liden McKilion and Rhett Cornish in the third quarter increased the lead to 40-0.

Prescott added one more touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 72-yard run by Bryce Block.
