HOPE – On a warm and partially cloudy last day in August, the Hope High School tennis team continued their winning ways at the Fair Park courts against conference foe, De Queen. The Leopards were fewer in number this season compared to last season, plus the majority of their players seemed to be slightly younger and less experienced. The Bobcats, on the other hand, are blessed to have seven seniors this season, which adds much experience when it comes to the matches. A big crowd of onlookers, including Hope Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jonathan Crossley, cheered the Bobcats on to victory on Monday. Hope will play host to the Nashville Scrappers tennis team this Thursday, September 3rd beginning at 4:00 p.m.
