HOPE, Ark. — Hope Public Schools is proud to recognize six distinguished educators as members of the 2026 Educator Hall of Fame.
This year’s inductees are Frances Hendrix, Steve Bradshaw, Annie Catherine Lloyd, Nancy Bradford, Julie Cochran, and Don Sullivan. Together, they represent decades of service, leadership, and dedication to students and families throughout Hope Public Schools.
Frances Hendrix served generations of students as a science educator at Hope High School.
Steve Bradshaw devoted 37 years to Hope Public Schools, beginning as an elementary teacher and later serving the district in several leadership roles, including Assistant Superintendent for Transportation and Facilities.
Annie Catherine Lloyd served as a Family and Consumer Science educator, helping students develop valuable skills they could carry beyond the classroom.
Nancy Bradford dedicated decades of service to students at Yerger Middle School and was known for her commitment to student learning and success.
Julie Cochran, who will be honored posthumously, devoted more than 40 years to education in Hope and is remembered for her dedicated service to generations of students.
Don Sillavan, also being honored posthumously, served as a respected math educator at Hope High School and made a lasting impact on the students he taught.
The 2026 Educator Hall of Fame Reception will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Hempstead Hall.
Former students, families, colleagues, community members, and others whose lives were touched by these educators are encouraged to attend and help Hope Public Schools celebrate this special occasion.
Hope Public Schools is thankful for the years of service these educators gave to the district and proud to recognize the legacy each has left within the Hope community.
