We would like to congratulate the recipients of the Spring Hill “Farm Bureau Player of the Week” for last 2 weeks !
Last week’s award goes to # 2 Chris King. Chris is a Sr and is an instrumental part of the Bear’s defense. Chris had several “pancake blocks” in the Bears game against Poyen, and made several defensive adjustments in the game to keep the Bear’s within reach of 2A top 10 ranked Poyen. The week’s award is presented ENTIRE Offensive Line for the Bears – (l-r) #72 Trenton Lee, #51 Rhett Tuttle, #70 Landon Camp, # 55 Paxton Link and #64 Braiden Bryan (below). The O-Line was instrumental in the Bear’s 50-18 win at Mt Pine, and they assisted the backs that rushed for over 500 yards. “The O Line showed out! I haven’t had a team rush over 500 years in a single game since my time at Prescott”, said head Coach Greg Smith. Presenting the awards are Darrell Davis and Reed Camp, with Farm Bureau Insurance in Hope.
Congratulations Chris, Trenton, Rhett, Landon, Paxton, & Braiden and to the entire Bear football team. The Bears will travel to Centerpoint Friday night to take on the 3A Knights.
