NASHVILLE – On Friday, September 25, the Nashville Police Department, Arkansas State Police, and Arkansas Game and Fish assisted the 9th West Drug Task Force in executing a search warrant at 515 W. Sypert Street in Nashville. There were two arrests made as a result of the search warrant:
Kenyon Guarisco, 18 years of age, W/M, was arrested for:
Simultaneous Possession of drugs and firearms,
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
Maintaining a Drug Premises, and
Possession of a Controlled Substance VI with Purpose to Deliver
David Lima, 20 years of age, H/M, was arrested for:
Obstructing Governmental Operations and
Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License
Items seized as a result of the search warrant was:
$2880 in cash
2115.1 grams of marijuana
182.1 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms)
Glock .40 pistol
Glock switch
Matrix Arms 7.62 rifle
Federal agents were contacted to begin an investigation on the Glock switch, which converts the handgun into an automatic firearm. These switches are illegal to possess even when not installed into a firearm and carry a federal prison sentence when convicted.
