HOPE – On Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at 9:51pm, officers with the Hope Police Department
arrested Dakari Harris, 40 of Washington, AR in the 200 block of East Greenwood Street. Mr.
Harris was charged with Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree (2 counts) and
Possession of a Firearm by Certain Person (2 counts). Mr. Harris was transported to the
Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court appearance.
On Friday, September 25th, 2026, at 11:00am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Juan Scott, 59 of Hope, AR in the 100 block of South Elm Street. Mr. Scott was charged with
Theft of Property, Criminal Trespass and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Scott was
transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court
appearance.
