PRESCOTT – Fall is here, and that means a busy and exciting time of year for the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce! We have several community events coming up, and we hope you’ll join us as we continue bringing our businesses and community together.

Community Coffees are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fellowship, visit with friends and neighbors, learn more about our local organizations and businesses, and stay connected with what is happening in our community.
FALL FESTIVAL & TRADE DAYS – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10
Our annual Fall Festival & Trade Days will be held Saturday, October 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Nevada County Courthouse Lawn.
The morning will kick off at 7:30 a.m. with the Fall Festival 5K Run & Walk, followed by a full day of activities, including:
• Motorcycle Show
• Calvin Brown Basketball Tournament at the City Park
• Golden Pumpkin Hunt
• Danctastic Dance Studio performance
• Calvin Brown Basketball Shootout for children K-12 grade – FREE to participate with cash prizes
• Stay Tuned Band featuring Coach Russell Carter at 12:30 p.m.
• Husband Calling and Parent Calling Contests
• Fall Festival Pageant
• Fourth and final Golden Pumpkin clue
• Rifle raffle drawing
TRICK-OR-TREAT ON ELM STREET – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29
Our annual Trick-or-Treat on Elm Street will be held Thursday, October 29, from 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.
Last year, we had more than 50 candy vendors, and we are looking forward to another great turnout! Businesses, organizations, churches, groups, and individuals are invited to participate. If you would like to be a candy vendor, please let us know by responding to this email or calling the Chamber office at 887-2101, so we can add you to our list.
We will also hold our Halloween Business Costume Contest that day! If your business would like to participate, please contact the Chamber so we can make sure our judges stop by to see your costumes.
