Pictured: Demolition and removal of the old tennis courts
Long-awaited improvements are finally underway at Hope Fair Park as the worn-down tennis courts have been completely demolished. The work was started on October 6th, as a crew of city workers were seen cleaning up the rubble after the demolition of the courts. In the place of the old courts, three brand new tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts will be constructed. Along with this, new fencing, lighting, and restrooms will be built. All together, the project costs a total of around 1.2 to 1.3 million dollars.
