In Loving Memory of Donna Cox
June 4, 1959 – Oct. 12, 2026
Our greatly loved sister with a beautiful smile, Donna Cox, left us on October 12 at the age of 67. She passed away at the home of her sister and brother-in-law in Helena, Ala., after a year-long fight with urothelial cancer. She left a massive hole in our lives and a legacy of warmth and laughter that we will carry forever.
Born in Hot Springs, Ark., to parents Robert Don Cox and Louise Word Cox, Donna grew up sharing a special, lifelong bond with her younger sister, Beverly Cox Crider.
Donna found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. She was an avid reader, and she loved getting lost in her favorite television shows and movies. She enjoyed wandering through local arts and crafts shows, always hunting for unique treasures and admiring the creativity of others.
Above all, Donna was completely devoted to her family and friends. Her happiest moments were those spent sharing stories and laughing with them.
Donna was a wonderful and caring sister, a loyal friend, and a constant reminder to cherish the people around us.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly Cox Crider, her brother-in-law Kyle Crider, her Goddaughter Megan Bryant and Godson Kevin Bryant, lifelong friend Karen Gillespie Bryant and many other cherished friends.
