Rose shares stuffing recipe

PRESCOTT – It’s the holiday season, which means fellowship, family and, of course, food.

After all, what’s a family gathering without a meal or two, possibly three or four – especially at Thanksgiving. Several area residents have been asked to provide their favorite holiday recipes. This one is from Tammie Rose, community development director:

Dressing

4- Packages yellow cornbread mix (not sweet or muffin)

1- Bottle rubbed sage

3- Cans chicken broth

3- Cans cream of chicken soup

4- Eggs

1- Bunch green onions chopped

Make cornbread as directed. Allow to cool then crumble into roasting pan. Heat soup and broth on stove and allow to cool. Mix all ingredients together in roasting pan and bake at 350 for about 1 to 1.5 hours.
