Attorney Jim Jackson Receives Award
LITTLE ROCK- Attorney Jim Jackson has received the highest honor given out by the esteemed peer rating organization Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Jackson was notified this week of his AV Preeminent Judicial Edition award.
According to Martindale-Hubbell, “Peer Review Ratings recognize lawyers for their strong legal ability and high ethical standards. Individuals seeking legal counsel, as well as attorneys looking to refer a colleague, use these ratings to identify, evaluate and select the most appropriate lawyer.” Jackson joins an elite group of approximately 10 percent of all attorneys with the AV Preeminent distinction, an honor bestowed upon him by votes of confidence from the bar and judiciary.
“When you’re busy working for your clients you aren’t taking time to seek out awards. So when I received the notice it was very humbling to know that my peers –my fellow attorneys and judges– regarded me so highly,” stated Jackson from his office in Little Rock. “I will continue to endeavor to live up to these high standards in representing everyday Arkansans who have been victims of accidents or injuries who put their trust in me.”
The Jackson Law Firm specializes in personal injury litigation across the State of Arkansas. Mr. Jackson, a graduate of Hendrix College and the William H. Bowen School of Law, grew up in Columbus, Arkansas and as a young farmhand his grandparents taught him the importance of giving back and helping his community. When he began his firm in 2008, Jackson knew he wanted to take that passion further by helping injured Arkansans through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Jackson was appointed to serve as a Special Justice to the Arkansas Supreme Court by Governor Mike Beebe. To date he has recovered more than $45 million in verdicts and settlements for clients.
