Menu set for community feed, donations accepted for gifts for children

PRESCOTT – Saturday, Dec. 21, will be the Third Annual Community Feed Christmas Party.

The event will kick off at 10 a.m. at the Potlatch Building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The menu will be hot dogs or chili dogs, nachos, popcorn and desserts. This is free to the public.

During the feed, drawings will be held and children will receive gifts for Christmas. Donations are being accepted for these gifts, with bicycles the main request. Donations can be dropped off at Curry’s Cleaners from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
