Spring…A Time to Till

The Nevada County Master Gardeners will hold “Spring…A Time to Till”, their annual Garden Show and Plant Sale April 18th at the Stokes Center at Central Baptist Church in Prescott at 605 East 2nd Street.  There will be a huge plant sale, a silent auction of tablescapes, and vendors.  Some of the topics include “How to Raise Roses Without Losing Your Mind” and “All About the Birds and Bees…Attracting Pollinators”.  Speakers will include Blann Britton as well as Garden Manager of Garvan Gardens Minnie Shelor.

    The event gets underway at 7:30am with registration, refreshments, plant sale, and vendor shopping.  At 8:30am will be the welcom and door prizes with the first speaker at 8:45am.  Lunch is set for noon and you can preorder a scak lunch from the Tri-Service Club for $8.
