Auditorium at Camp Couchdale Named For Troy Buck

Former Hope High Agri Teacher Troy Buck was honored Wednesday (7-13) at Camp Couchdale near Hot Springs.  The Marion Fletcher Leadership Center at the FFA facility is now the site of the Troy Buck Auditorium!  Mr. Buck was able to be there with family members.

Here’s an account of the event from former state senator Bruce Maloch’s facebook page…

What a great day for Arkansas Agricultural Education & FFA and the Arkansas FFA Foundation with the ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Marion Fletcher Leadership Center. Thanks to Governor Asa Hutchinson, the legislature and supporters for making it happen. Glad to have Secretary of Ag Wes Ward, Secretary of Education Johnny Key, CTE Director Ross White and Gene Higginbotham representing former State FFA President and Congressman Bruce Westerman. Farmers Bank & Trust was pleased to sponsor the office/board room area. The ribbon cutting was held in the Troy Buck Auditorium, which was sponsored by Arkansas Farm Bureau. Thanks to the state staff (Gordon Eichelberger, Jason Binz, Chris Bacchus) and Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Barber Cook for an exciting day!
