Welton Green of Monticello Visits Bright Farm For Big Melons

Mr. Welton Green of Monticello visited the Lloyd Bright farm to acquire some giant Hope Watermelons to take back home on this weekend.  Mr. Green attended the festival to get some watermelons and contacted his old friend Lloyd to get some big melons.  Mr. Green has long attended the Watermelon Festival big melon auctions to get a big one to feed his church family back home in Drew County.  While he was able to get some “eating size” melons at the festival he didn’t want to leave without some big ones and Lloyd Bright was able to accommodate Mr. Green.  We thank Lloyd Bright for providing the photo…and Mr. Green, come back and see us soon!  We appreciate your devotion to Hope Watermelons!
