Mr. Arthur Quinn Turner “Poochie”

Mr. Arthur Quinn Turner was born November 11, 1956, in Flint, Michigan to the late Jimmie Frances and Houston Turner. Arthur departed this life December 7, 2024, at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.
Arthur graduated from Northern High School in Flint, Michigan. Arthur moved to Inglewood, California until 2005. Arthur’s next move was to Texarkana, Texas, where he lived until his passing.
Arthur joined Greater Memorial Church of God in Christ in Ashdown, Arkansas. He served as Superintendent of Sunday School. Arthur was a faithful servant under the leadership of Pastor Rufus Esters and Pastor Robert Roy until his health began to fail.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leotis Turner, Marcus Turner and Elder Rufus Esters.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife, Melanie Turner; his beloved children, Latasha (Brian) Porter, Mario, Monay, Micheal; grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Rita (Terry) Stewart of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, Margaret Brown of Prescott, Arkansas, Levina Turner of Long Beach, California; brothers, Huston (Helen) Turner of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Troy (Geraldine) Marks of Wixom, Michigan; sister-in-law, Janice Esters of Mineral Springs, Arkansas; and a host of relatives and friends.
