Fire destroys house in Nevada County

RURAL NEVADA COUNTY – Tuesday night at 6:26, Nevada County Fire & Rescue, along with FairHills Fire Department and Redland Fire Department, responded to a residential structure fire off County Road 253. Upon arrival, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Crews immediately began fire suppression operations, first addressing any immediate wildfire threats before focusing on suppression of the structure itself. One injury was reported at the scene.
