HOPE – The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT) is reminding Hempstead County high school seniors that the Hempstead Guarantee Scholarship deadlines are quickly approaching.
This scholarship allows eligible graduates from Hempstead County high schools to attend UAHT at no cost for their first year. It covers tuition, fees, and book rental costs not already paid by other financial aid.
Students interested in receiving the scholarship should complete the following steps by the listed deadlines:

Complete the Arkansas state scholarship application at https://sams.adhe.edu/ by May 1.
Graduate from a Hempstead County high school.
Submit the FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and provide all required financial aid documents by May 31.
Enroll in at least 12 credit hours at UAHT for the fall semester by June 30.
