
Joan Eleanor Key, age 89, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on April 5, 2026, at a local nursing home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Key was born on April 6, 1936, in Blevins, Arkansas to her parents, Jeff and Bertie Robinson Norvell. She had a love for baking and decorating.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles (Charlie) Edward Key; son, Charles (Chuck) L. Key; granddaughter, Tiffany Key Stanley; two brothers, Grandon Norvell and Gary Norvell.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Gregory Todd Key of Dallas, Texas, Joe Scott Anderson Key of Hope, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Sheila Key of Hope, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Ashlea Key (Pedie) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Meredith Ivy (Lee) of Cushing, Oklahoma, Emily Johnson (Titan) of Illinois, Taylor Stuhr (Heath) of Hope, Arkansas; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
