We were proud to celebrate the Prairie D’Ane flagpole and picnic pavilion with such a great crowd in attendance!
A special thank you to Paul Ridgell, President and overseer of Prairie D’Ane, for welcoming everyone, and sharing the hard work put into the grounds by many in attendance. And to Josh Williams of Old Washington State Park for sharing a beautiful quote reflecting on the past days of Battle of Prairie D’Ane. Mrs. Robin Ridgell was the best host and planner for the event.
It truly was a perfect day for a picnic, enjoying nature, and taking in the rich history of this special place.
