NASHVILLE – A Nashville woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon in Nashville. According to the preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Yolanda Hesslund, 50, of Nashville, was on Arkansas Highway 27 North in a 2006 Toyota when she apparently failed to yield and turned left onto Highway 27B into the path of a 2003 Peterbilt traveling south on 27. Hesslund perished in the crash. The truck driver was not injured.
The crash happened at 2:22 pm Friday, with Arkansas State Police Corporal Travis Hale investigating.
