Wednesday (6-24) was the first of our Weekly Wednesday Workshops! Although the threat of rain delayed our start, we were still able to go on our tour of Mr. Lloyd Bright’s giant watermelon patch. Here he selects the melons that will go on to become supersize melons. He gave each a copy of his book and seeds from his family’s famous melons.
After making Watermelon Whip with frozen watermelon and yogurt using the smoothie bike, each tried their best at a seed spitting contest!
