WASHINGTON, D.C. – Prescott native Rachel Hale (middle) was part of the America250 Celebration in Washington, D.C. this past weekend. Rachel Hale: “Thank you Peter Doocy and FOX News for capturing this unforgettable moment at Salute to America as we waited out the storm in what became the “Freedom Bunker.” It was an incredible honor to perform a piece of “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” alongside @Laura Osnes, @Carrie Manolakos, and D. Hamilton Music for the World War II veterans who were the very reason we gathered to celebrate. While the weather changed our plans, it could never diminish the gratitude, patriotism, and joy shared in that room.
To the Greatest Generation: thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and the freedoms we enjoy every day. Your legacy lives on in all of us.”
