HOPE – On Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, at 11:30am, officers with the Hope Police Department
arrested McKinsey Davis, 25 of Hope, AR in the 1400 block of North Spruce Street. Mr. Davis
was charged with Residential Burglary and Criminal Trespass. Mr. Davis was transported to the
Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court appearance.
On Thursday, October 1st, 2026, at 10:09pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Michael Shay Jr, 42 of Hope, AR in the 2700 block of Highway 174 South. Mr. Shay was
charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and held at the Hempstead County Detention
Facility pending a first court appearance.
