Beryl Henry Elementary Top Spellers

HOPE – Battling through a total of 24 rounds overall, the top two spellers in each grade in the Beryl Henry Elementary School Spelling Bee will represent BHE at the Hempstead County Spelling Bee.

Fifth grade winners were Kaden Brown, first place, Gimena Heredia, second place and Maurice Hickman, third place.

Sixth grade winners were Armand Bowling, first place, Thykah Walker, second place and Kalijah Jenkins, third place. Bowling won the sixth grade bee in eight rounds, with Walker and Jenkins battling another eight rounds for the alternative position.
