HAPS Student Wins Third Championship At Hempstead County Spelling Bee

HOPE – Mika Brown, seventh grade student at the Hope Acedemy of Public Service, made it a trifecta in the Hempstead County Spelling Bee this year by winning her third championship in a row.

A total of 47 students from county schools competed this year at the Southwest Arkansas Educational Cooperative building on the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana main campus.
