SHES recognized for achievements

SPRINGHILL – Spring Hill Elementary School has been recognized as one of the highest achieving elementary schools in Arkansas.

The Office of Education Policy (OEP), at the University of Arkansas, has awarded SHES four awards for the Southwest Region. The awards are for: overall high achieving, ELA high achieving, math high achieving and science high achieving.

These awards are based on the OEP-created “school GPA” calculated on the basis of the percentage of students performing at each level on the 2016 ACT Aspire Math, ELA and Science exams.
