Sheriff’s auction Saturday

HOPE – A public auction will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office.

The auction will be held in the parking lot of the Hempstead County Detention Center on Washington Street. Several vehicles will be auctioned off. One is a surplus HCSO vehicle, a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, while others were vehicles seized in drug arrest.

All vehicles are being sold “as is” and must be removed from the premises by the end of the auction. All sales will be final.

Along with the Crown Victoria, a 1999 Ford F-250 diesel will be auctioned off. Also being sold are a 2005 Dodge Caravan, 2004 Dodge Ram and 2001 Ford F-250.

All vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder.
