William Ed Johnson was born February 22,1929 to the late Clem and Linnie B. Johnson. He was the second born of five children given to this marriage. His life expired on Friday March 3rd, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He enjoyed 88 years of life with family and friends. William was a hard worker and loved by everyone.
His parents, Clem and Linnie B. Johnson, one brother John Henry Johnson,three sons William Earl Johnson, Roy Dale Johnson, Jarome Spearman, and two daughters Ritalynn Johnson, Earnestean Johnson preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory five daughters and four stepdaughters; Patricia Johnson, Cynthia Marlow (Larry) of Nashville, Arkansas; Bobbie McFadyen (Leon) of Compton, California; Lenoria Morrison (Gregory) of Little Rock, Arkansas; Jacquelien Scoggins, Shirley Morrison both of Hope, Arkansas: Onia Mae Bennett (Delbert) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jessie Marie Holston, of Fayetville, North Carolina; Linda Sue McDonald of Fort Worth, Texas; four sons Clifford Johnson (Joyce) of Nashville, Arkansas; Wilbert Johnson (Brenda) of Ozan, Arkansas, Donnie Johnson (Anna), Ronnie Johnson (Sandra) both of McCaskill, Arkansas; two sisters Mary Crofton and Vernice Johnson both of Nashville, Arkansas; 31 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be 11am Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Hicks Memorial Chapel for funerals, 407 South Hazel Street, Hope, Arkansas. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
