Nevada available for school choice

ROSSTON – The Nevada School District participates in the Arkansas Public School Choice program and invites parents to “Choose Nevada!”

School choice allows families to pick the best school district for their children. Applications are available at the district office at 6580 US Hwy. 278 in Rosston, or online at www.arkansased.gov.

Nevada is proud of its innovative teachers and dedicated students. It is a public school with private school class sizes. It has a SAFE school environment and low discipline problem. The district is integrated 1:1 in student technology, and high school students have the opportunity to earn college credit.

There are many reasons to “Choose Nevada”. The deadline to submit school choice is May 1 for the 2017-18 school year. For more information, call 870-871-2418 or come by and visit.

Transportation will be provided if there is sufficient interest in a certain geographical location.
