ARRESTS

4/17

Myrna Scott, 47, was arrested at 8:58 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Ave. B and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) with the purpose to deliver, possession of a controlled substance near certain facilities, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lester Moody, 67, of Hope, was arrested and charged with third degree battery at 6:07 p.m. in the 400 block of E. 3rd.

David Lara, 26, and Charles Jones, 57, both of Hope, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, at 1:54 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Hazel. Jones was also served with a failure to appear warrant.

Diantae Cheatham, 27, of Hope, was arrested at 11:44 a.m. in the 300 block of E. Hickory and charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and served with a failure to comply warrant.

Josh Couey, 36, of Bishop, GA, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. in the 2400 block of N. Hervey, and charged with public intoxication.

Deontez Williams, 22, of Hope, was arrested at 2:29 p.m. in the 1100 block of E. Hickory and charged with obstructing government operation and served with a failure to appear warrant.

OTHER

A 17-year-old Hope boy was arrested and charged with first degree murder. The original incident occurred on April 15 in the 200 block of N. Pritchard.
