Hope Farmers Market

HOPE- The Hope Farmers Market took place this morning June 20. The market consisted of fresh produce from local families farms. There were 13 vendors set up with fresh produce.

Jams and jellies were being sold, along with fresh blueberries and blackberries. Vegetables being sold consisted of carrots, corn on the cob, tomatoes, okra, and squash. Freshly made breads such as banana bread, blueberry muffins, and homemade cinnamon rolls were also being sold. The hometown favorite, fresh watermelon made a return for the second time this market season. Items such as homemade soaps, skin balms, and handmade aprons were also being sold this morning..

Tiffany Purtle from the, First United Methodist Preschool along with her daughter MaKayla hosted the hospitality table this morning. A drawing for a gift basket with handmade goodies and local produce was to be given away from the hospitality table at the end of the market.

If you wish to visit other local farmers markets they are Fridays in Nashville from 7am until 11am, and in Old Washington on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.
