Hope Lions Club Donates to World Service for the Blind
HOPE- The Hope Lions Club made a $250 donation to the World Services for the Blind in the memory of Donna Potter. Donna was a member of the Lions Club from August 2015 until October 2016. Speaking with President of the Hope Lions Club, Daulton Brewer he stated that this was a normal contribution for the Hope Lions Club to do in honor of there members past and present.
The World Service of the Blind was founded by Roy Kumpe in 1947. They were created to help serve the blind and those who are visually impaired and teaches them how to live independently and also helps with career training, and basic life skills they need. They have both youth programs along with the older blind program for those who are 55 and older.
