The Hope Rotary Club heard from one of their own on Thursday September 15th. Rotarian Les Patterson gave a report on the annual Family Health Expo which was held August 26th at Hempstead Hall. The event is sponsored by the HOPE coalition (Healthy Opportunities through Preventive Education). Patterson said the event drew 560 people which was a considerable increase from the last several years. 
The Family Health Expo started in 1996 as “Shots for Tots”. The Hope Rotary Club has been active since the inception. Patterson has been extremely active in the annual event and his enthusiasm was contagious!
