Road Construction set to begin Monday, October 16th

Hempstead County has contracted out an extensive road construction project on Hempstead County Road 3 (Patmos Road) that is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 16th. The first phase of construction will start at the intersection of Hempstead CR 3 (Patmos Road) & Hempstead CR 132, which is approximately 5 miles south of Hwy. 29 South and Bill Clinton Bypass. Hempstead CR 3 (Patmos Road) will be closed to thru traffic off and on for the duration of this project. Please use alternate routes if possible and exercise extreme caution in construction zones. Hempstead County appreciates your cooperation and patience with this project.
