Hope Kiwanis Club Sets Special November Meetings

HOPE- The Hope Kiwanis Club is holding a series of special programs in November. As always, the special series is chaired by Kiwanian Bob Willis. The first program is set for the regular Kiwanis meeting on November 7th and will be the “Salute to Ministers”. The speaker will be Daniel Bramlett of First Baptist Church and this program is at the Amigo Juan meeting room. All ministers are invited. The “Salute to Veterans” will be held Friday November 10th at Hempstead Hall. The speaker will be George Baker, retired educator from Arkadelphia. Doors open for this program at 11am and it will be held at Hempstead Hall. This is also a joint meeting of all the Hope Civic Clubs. November 14th will be the “Salute to Law Enforcement and Public Officials” and this will be at the Amigo Juan meeting room. Serving begins at 11:30am. Greg Gilbert will be the speaker. The final program is “Farm City Day” November 21st at the Amigo Juan Meeting Room. Serving begins at 11:30am and all farmers and agricultural workers are invited. There will be special music from the Hempstead County Melody Boys. 
Willis asks that all who wish to attend the meetings call him so there can be a head count for the meals. For info or to let Willis know you’re coming to a meeting phone him at 397-1960.
