ACCIDENTS

10/17

A two vehicle accident occurred at 6:28 a.m. in the 800 block of Henry C. Yerger.

A two vehicle hit and run accident occurred on private property at 1 p.m. at Southern Bakery.

10/18

A two vehicle hit and run accident occurred on private property at 10:50 a.m. at the Hempstead County Courthouse.

10/19

A two vehicle accident occurred on private property at 12:44 p.m. at Tiger Mart.

ARRESTS

10/17

Veronica Valdez, 23, and Agustin Valdez, 32, both of Blevins, were arrested at 3:40 p.m. at Wal-Mart and charged with theft of property.

Veronica Bradley, 32, of Hope, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. in the 600 block of S. Spruce, and charged with possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.

Keon Johnson, 39, of Hope, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. in the 600 block of S. Main and charged with fleeing in a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and disregarding a red light.

Adam Kidd, 38, of Lewisville, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. in the 3000 block of the Bill Clinton Bypass and charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and making an improper turn.

A 16-year-old Hope boy was charged with aggravated assault on a family member at 9:13 p.m. in the 1000 block of W. 5th.

OTHER

10/16

David Sanders, 63, of Hope, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage from an incident that occurred at 3:09 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Wal-Mart.

10/17

Corrie Faris, 21, of Hope, was arrested and charged with domestic battery third degree from an incident that occurred at 11:46 a.m. in the 100 block of S. Spruce on Sept. 22.

Tyrell Marshall, 20, of Hope, was charged with third degree assault from an incident that occurred at 12:38 a.m. on Sept. 23 at Waffle House. He was also charged with third degree battery from a incident that occurred at 5:48 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Fred’s Dollar Store.
