A Celebration of Life for Ronnie Volentine will take place on, Sunday, October 29 at 2:00 pm at Ronnie’s place in Shover Springs: 325 Hempstead 123. We look forward to seeing everyone.

 

Ronnie Volentine, age 64, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at his home in Shover Springs. Ronnie was born in Hope, Arkansas to Maudie Bennett Volentine and Carlon “CJ” Volentine. Ronnie was the middle child of three.

 

Ronnie was very talented at many things. As a teenager Ronnie took a taxidermy course and preserved many animals. He worked hard and earned the Eagle Scout Award.

 

All of his life, he has been passionate about hunting and fishing! He was good at most everything he did. He built his own race car, the “CUDA” and was successful at that. His profession was welding and he took so much pride in it.

 

Those of us that were really close to Ronnie knew what a deep, caring person he was. He was a proud, independent person that never wanted to ask anyone for help!

 

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, CJ and Maudie Volentine.

 

Survivors include; one sister, Nancy Grimmett, of Austin, Texas, one brother, Larry Volentine and wife, Lisa of North Little Rock, one nephew, David Grimmett III of Richmond, Texas, four nieces, Kimberly Krant of Austin, Texas, Macy Volentine of Little Rock, Sarah Dunnavant of Memphis, Tennessee, and Jennifer Oxford of Fayetteville, Arkansas, best friend, Ben Davis, and many other relatives and friends. Ronnie will be missed by man.
