Hempstead Hall was the site of an outstanding southern gospel concert that brought hundreds to the feet repeatedly as two of southern gospel’s most outstanding groups peformed together and separately. The Booth Brothers and Ernie Haase and Signature Sound teamed up for the opening performance of their “Brotherhood” tour Thursday January 11th in Hope. Both groups combined for several songs and then the Haase aggregation did their solo stint. Haase featured each member separately and the group also performed songs from their new album “Clear Skies”. The Booth Brothers followed with their hits as well as such well-known hymns as “He Leadeth Me” and “Holy, Holy, Holy” from their new project. The groups then combined to close the show. Judging from the enthusiastic reception, Southwest Arkansas is ready for the Booths and Haase again in the future!
