From the National Weather Service:
Flash Flood Watch in effect through 7 AM CDT Thursday.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
Portions of Arkansas, Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, and Texas, including the following counties,

In Arkansas:
Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada, Sevier, and Union. In Louisiana, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Claiborne, De Soto, Grant, Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Sabine, Union, Webster, and Winn.

In southeast Oklahoma: McCurtain.

In Texas: Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Red River, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur, and Wood.

Thunderstorms will continue along a slow moving cold front that will become nearly stationary over the Four State Region. An upper level trough will move east of the area early Thursday shifting the cold front east with high pressure building in wake of the system ending the rainfall. Widespread rainfall amounts of two to four inches, with higher amounts of four to six inches possible before ending.

The heavy rainfall may lead to flooding, especially in low lying and poor drainage areas, and potential river flooding as water runoff drains.
