Two arrested by task force

HOPE – On Friday July 20, agents from the 8^th North Task Force and Deputies from the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Kacey Allen Bunnell and 47-year-old Chad Hamm of Hope, for trafficking controlled substance (Methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bunnell was also charged with possession of a weapon by certain persons.

Agents and Deputies seized 342 grams (12.9 oz) of methamphetamines valued at approximately $30,000 dollars, scales, approximately $362 dollars in currency and a 9mm semi-auto handgun.

Both were transported to the HCDF where they will be held pending a first court appearance.
